INGREDIENTS
100g rolled oats
350ml milk (dairy or oat/almond milk)
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt

METHOD

1.  Pour oats, milk, sweetener, vanilla, cinnamon and salt into the pot.
Stir to combine.

 

 2. Set the slow cooker to Low for 1.5–2 hours, stirring halfway through. OR use Keep Warm overnight (6–8 hours) creamier result.

 

 3. Depending on the oats and milk used: 

If too thick → stir in a splash of milk

If too thin → cook an extra 10–15 minutes on Low

 

 

4. Spoon into bowls and top with fruit or nuts
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.

 

TIP

Mix in your favourite flavours, sliced banana, a handful of chocolate chips, and a spoonful of peanut butter make a delicious combo.
