450g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 bunch of asparagus, tough ends trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
40g grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving
1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 190°C for a few minutes.
2. Prepare the Shrimp and Asparagus
In a large bowl, toss the shrimp and asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure they're evenly coated.
3. Arrange in the Air Fryer Basket:
Place the seasoned shrimp and asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
4. Air Fry:
Cook for about 8-10 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, and the asparagus is tender and slightly crisp. Shake or stir them halfway through the cooking time for even cooking.
5. Add Parmesan Cheese:
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the shrimp and asparagus.
6. Continue Cooking:
Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Remove the shrimp and asparagus from the air fryer and squeeze fresh lemon juice over them for a burst of flavor.
Keep in mind that the exact times may vary depending on your specific air fryer model. Be sure to monitor the cooking process and adjust the times as needed to ensure the shrimp are pink and opaque and the asparagus is tender with a slight crispness
