Absolutely great item! I am very happy with my pressure cooker! Cooking food so fast! It literally takes a minutes to make a proper dinner. I made a beef in about 10mins, chicken even quicker!!! I would definitely recommend the pressure cooker to everyone especially to persons who have never use it before! Extremely easy to use and to clean!

Only used my new pressure cooker twice but it's more efficient than my old one which I'd had for approximately 10-15 years, and only replaced because it was discontinued and I couldn't replace a broken weight. If this one lasts as long I will be very happy

Love it - Tower 6L One Touch Pressure Cooker

I am new to the wonders of pressure cooking and spent a lot of time researching in order to get a cooker which was stylish, easy to operate and with sufficient capacity. Having made my first beef pot roast I was impressed with the ease of use and the efficiency of the cooker on a ceramic hob, which is often difficult to control an even temperature. I managed to maintain an even pressure throughout the cooking stage and using the natural cooling method produced a tender, tasty joint of beef. Very impressive.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. The lid is easily removed using just one hand. It has a handy timer in the handle which is removable if necessary. The capacity is very good and will easily feed the family. It is also very easy to clean.

Tower 6L One Touch Pressure Cooker

This was my first experience with a Pressure Cooker, It did the job admirably, pretty much cooking a 3 (plus) hour beef in Guiness casserole in approximately 35 minutes. Build quality over all is good, I particularly wanted Stainless Steel & not Aluminium, it is weighty & robust, the locking mechanism seems well designed as do the sealing gasket & the pressure release valves etc. It is suitable for all hob tops which in my book is also a plus. I could have lived with out the timer which is the only "Cheap" component in the item & in my view un-necessary, it has to be removed for cleaning any way & most kitchens would have a stand alone timer any way.\nMy only other moan would be the "User Manual" could have gone in to greater detail on cleaning after use etc.

Tower 6L One Touch Pressure Cooker

Not having used a pressure cooker for over 20 years it was a little worrying how they have changed, however I need not have done any worrying at all. Ergonomic handles and timer made for easy using and the cooker heated up very quickly. The build quality was fantastic, my previous one was an aluminium one which did give good service but I love the stainless steel that this one is made of. The sealing ring is a good quality and appears to be silicone rather than the previous rubber one of old. I think it is good value for money, and large enough for my family of four of us. The only down side is there is no divider in the cooking basket..but hey that could be me nit picking.

Absolutely fantastic, very pleased with the Tower 6L One Touch Pressure Cooker. It really is a great design and as this is the first time I have owned a pressure cooker I can honestly say my vegetables, chicken and salmon has never tasted better. You really can taste the difference, the flavour is fantastic. Another bonus is after 20mins, better than 1 hour or so using a pan or steamer. the veg is nice and soft. I only cook it in the supplied inner pan with water and chicken on the bottom of the stainless steel pot, stainless steel is definitely the best. A very good product, highly recommended.

A very reasonably priced pressure cooker, that is both safe and efficient. My only criticism would be that the manual did not clearly show how to use the steamer basket and there were too few recipes included. Overall a great product that we have used repeatedly.

Tower 6L One Touch Pressure Cooker

The cooker is very solid, feeling heavier than similar sized pressure cookers I have owned before. The one handed opening feature works well. The little timer in the handle is something of a gimmick, I have never used it. Once this one has reached cooking pressure, it can be maintained with just my smallest gas ring at minimum flame. The minimum and maximum liquid level markings on the inner surface are a good feature.

Good Pressure Cooker Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

Happy with my pressure cooker. It does the intended job. Only downside is that the digital timer has stopped working since I left it on top of pot while cooking. Mind you, this information was told to be ok, to leave or remove from pot. It's only minor issue in my opinion. I use my stove timer to set the time. Overall, good sturdy 6 litre pot, easy to operate. Would recommend.

We've had pressure cookers for years and this was a necessary replacement. It looks good, is simple to use and certainly appears to be spot on. Have only used it a couple of times to date, but am more than happy. What the cleaning issues will be when you dismantle it for a deep clean, I don't know, but we like it. Could do with a proper recipe book as part of the package, which we had with our much earlier models (There's only one or two simple recipes in the main instruction booklet) and that is perhaps the only criticism.

Have used it only once and found its performance was good. Design is attractive but the lid, as with all pressure cookers needs to be opened carefully to avoid burns with hot water dripping.\n\nThe only reason for not giving the full 5 star rating is due to very poorly written operating instructions. It seems to have been badly translated from some other native language and is confusing.

We were a bit apprehensive when we made the purchase because we have been Pressure cooker users for many years and in spite of all sorts of innovations and so called 'easy to use' features we have always reverted to the original manual weight on top of the valve system that is very reliable, almost fool proof. We have only had this new pressure cooker a few weeks and we are over the moon with it, very efficient, very safe and very accurate. We couldn't be happier. Well done Tower for producing a up to date version of a classic.

I have used this pressure cooker for first time on Saturday, was boiling my meat and vegetable to perfection in less than 40 min. The vegetables were not mushy, but retained their shape as well as vitamins. Very pleased with my purchase.

I am so far very pleased with the tower presure cooker, not only does it look great, but much easier to open, and having the two handles much better to lift. My old presure cooker took so long to reach presure, that it was quicker to use a saucepan, but this one is very quick. The price is a little bit exspensive , but then every thing is these days. I would recommend it . I haven't used it very much yet, but if it lasts as long as others I have had during my 43 year married life, the it will be good.

This is the first pressure cooker that i have owned, and i am very impressed. It is so simple to use and it does cook the food in a third of the time. The build quality is very good and it uses a fraction of the gas that i consumed using more traditional methods and it left a lot less condensation in the kitchen. It is a vast improvement to the one my mom used to have back in the day. I would recommend this product highly and say to people that they should seriously consider this style of cooking. They wont be disappointed.

Pressurises brilliantly, quiet, energy saving and generally good as a pressure cooker but it's let down by poor build quality of the lid. The first time I tried to clean it bits fell off just by turning it upside down! Unfortunately the little timer fell into the water and is now ruined, but I think it's just a gimmick anyway. The silver bit on the lid which houses the timer looks like it was never meant to fit. I can't believe the bad design. Looks like an afterthought. These faults ruin what is good pressure cooker.

well built and straight forward in use ; basically it works like any pressure cooker , brings itself to a start pressure and then you turn the heat down on the stove and start the timer. Nice n' quiet. A little heavy but then reassuringly sturdy and steel easy to clean. The 'min' mark incidentally is a little ambiguous- though one should not put less than 200ml liquid in to cook according to the handbook, the 'min' mark is for a far larger quantity ...\nWhether you have a 'pan-handle' cooker or the 2 lifting handles is a personal choice- certainly for bigger/ one-pot dishes the latter suits me better.\nSo recommended.... as also was at the right price.

What a nice bit of kit. Well made and it looks like it will last its 10 year guarantee. I could have bought it cheaper from Argos but it seems to be a good buy for the price I paid. Still getting use to it . So can't say how it compares to similar pressure cookers. I like what I have purchased and so far have no complaints.

I found this pressure cooker really nice with a better type of cover than the most popular brands. It is easy to operate and cooks very quickly. The only issue is that the timer was not waterproof. But I would recommend this pressure cooker. Just remove the timer before washing the cover or putting it under running water.

Bought this to replace our 22 year old pressure cooker and am very pleased.\n\nIt is well made and feels nice and solid. I like the fact that a button pops up to tell you when pressure has been reached (our previous pressure cooker didn't have this - you had to guess when a certain amount of stream was coming out of the valve!)\n\nOnce pressure has been reached, vegetables cook really quickly - around a couple of minutes as compared to about 7 minutes for our previous cooker.\n\nThe timer in the lid is useful and can be removed if you want to carry it around with you. You must, however, remember to remove it before washing the lid as it's not waterproof.\n

The pressure cooker is very easy to use. \n\nWhen coming up to pressure a small button rises within the handle, the first indication that pressure is rising, this locks the handle from being unlocked. The indicator rises later, first showing a blue line, then white when working pressure is reached. \n\nEasy to clean with rounded corners in the base. \n\nBuild quality is good, will have to see later if the intricate lid cleans easy.

Feels nice and solid and comes to pressure fairly quicky and cooks nicely works well on induction hob . Good that trivet and basket are included . \n The timer is a bit gimiky and very flimsy also the plastic trim on the turn handle fell off would have been better if it was metal? \n The pressure is 80 Kpa which converts to 11.6 PSi so recipe timings for 15 psi will need converting to work . Had I known that it didnt reach 15psi before purchasing I would have looked further afield. \n\n Saying that the one handle opening mechanism is good . \nOverall a good buy for the price .

Having recently converted from a gas stove to an induction hob in our new kitchen, I needed a pressure cooker that would work on the new hob. I am so glad that I chose this one from Tower. A vast improvement on my old aluminium pressure cooker which does not work on the new hob. The one handed lid operation is such an innovation, and so easy to use. There is no pressure weight to lose as this is incorporated in the lid. The two side handles mean it is easy to carry when hot, and fits into the limited space I have in the saucepan cupboard which it would not if there was a "normal" handle on one side. I would most certainly recommend this Pressure cooker fromTower.

Early impressions are very good though this review is a bit of an early call as it was only purchased a couple of weeks ago. I can specify that the build quality is excellent. (already have a serviceable pressure cooker from Tower which around 15 years old.) The features are impressive i.e the way the lid locks on to the pan and the steam regulator. The capacity is also good.\nThe product was bought at Argos.\nIt might be a good idea to do a further review in about 3 months time.

The pressure cooker itself is well made and does what it is designed to do very well. Also, the reduced amount of steam in my kitchen is very welcome.\nHOWEVER I HAVE SOME POINTS TO MAKE:-\n First, it would help if some information on cooking times for various food/s was included.\nSecond, the actual times, for quick items like vegetables, allowing for getting up to pressure are, of course, longer than your promotional stuff implies. Also, idea of reducing pressure by putting it under running cold water does nt appeal to me; so this also adds to the time.\nThird, the trivet needs to be a circular item rather than a piece of bent wire to support three individual wedge shaped tall (say 75mm) baskets for different food items to cook at the same time. Maybe, you could supply as an optional extra.\nThanks \n.
