Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

12 large button mushrooms, stems removed and chopped
100g cream cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Breadcrumbs for topping (optional)

 

METHOD

1. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C

2. In a bowl, mix the chopped mushroom stems, cream cheese, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.

3. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture.

4. Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket and fry for 10-12 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden.

5. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each mushroom during the last few minutes for added crunch.


HANDY TIP

Lightly coat the air fryer basket with oil or use parchment paper to prevent the mushrooms from sticking.
