15 MINS
25 MINS
Serves 2-3
INGREDIENTS
750g chicken wings
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Cooking spray (for the air fryer)
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
METHOD
1. Season the Chicken Wings:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
2. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for about 5 minutes.
3. Air Fry the Chicken Wings:
Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flip the wings, and air fry for an additional 10-12 minutes or until they are golden and the internal temperature reaches 74°C.
4. Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
While the chicken wings are cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for a minute or until fragrant. Remove from heat. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Toss the Wings in the Sauce:
Once the chicken wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl.
Pour the prepared garlic Parmesan sauce over the hot wings and toss to coat evenly.
6. Serve and Enjoy!
Serve your Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings with additional grated Parmesan and chopped parsley for extra flavour.
