INGREDIENTS
4 slices of thick bread (brioche, white, or whole wheat)
2 large eggs
60ml milk 
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Olive oil spray or butter
Maple syrup
Fresh blueberries
Nutella in the ramekin
Icing sugar
METHOD
1. Cut each slice of bread into 3 or 4 thick sticks. Set them aside.
2.    In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth and well-combined.
3.     One at a time, dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, coating all sides. Allow the excess to drip off before placing them on a plate.
4.     Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 2-3 minutes.
5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or brush with melted butter to prevent sticking.
6.     Place the French toast sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t touch. 
7.     Air fry at 180°C for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until the sticks are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
8.     Once cooked, remove the French toast sticks from the air fryer and serve immediately.
9.     Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, fresh blueberries, or a dusting of icing sugar if desired.
10.     Dip in some Nutella.
TIP
Drizzle with almond butter or peanut butter for a nutty, protein-packed boost.
