Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

Have only used its couple of times. Once I worked out how to tell when it had reached the required pressure (very bad instructions ) was pleased with it. Am not sure how long or will last as it doesn't seem very easy to clean.

Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

Bought this to replace my old (30yrs plus) aluminum pressure cooker - so far, so good, but had to adjust the timings as the high pressure seems to be less than my old cooker. Like the stainless steel build which seems to be of good quality. Competitively priced.

Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

The Tower Pressure Cooker is easy to use, it is easy to put the lid on and I like the fact that you can tell when it is cooling down, either quickly under cold water orslowly if it is still pressurised so easily by the fact that the safety catch doesn't move. It comes to pressure quickly and certainly a lot quieter than my very old pressure cooker I used 30+ years ago. I think it was good value and well made. I have used it to make stock, casseroles and soup, in fact I can't imagine using an ordinary saucepan for soup or stock ever again.

Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

An excellent pressure cooker - one of the few on the market that still runs at close to 15psi. Nice safety features, good capacity, and feels well-made and quite sturdy. Easy to clean and service parts if needed.\n\nOnly down side is that the instruction manual is terrible and has several mistakes which make first use tricky, especially if you've never used one before.\n\nFor anyone who gets one and is confused:\n\n1) Turn the black 'dial' button to 1 for low or 2 for high pressure. Start heating.\n2) The red button pops up at a low pressure - this just acts as a safeguard to stop you opening the lid - you are not yet at cooking pressure!\n3) When the cooker reaches pressure, steam starts venting through the slit on the black button, but, contrary to what the instructions say, it does not pop up or whistle. At this point lower the heat so that steam is just gently venting and start timing your cooking.\n

Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

Love my new pressure cooker, it is my first Tower having used another well known brand. I am happy with purchase, although I think the ready to time indicator could have been better I.e. if it raised above the chamber, and better instructions for first time users would be great as well as a small recipe book. Safety features are great, all in all value for money, cooks well , looks good, first pressure cooker that I have bought as not had to assemble.

A replacement for my old tower cooker which had to be thrown away because some parts were no longer available. Clearly a much better product being made in stainless rather than aluminium.\nOnly used it twice but definately a good purchace. Only disappointment is you no longer supply a recipe book which you did before

Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

I'm very pleased with my new pressure cooker. But I believe my older one is better at keeping the pressure stable than this one. Having said that, everything I've cooked in it has come out as it should if I keep the heat a little higher than I'm used to. The instruction manual though, as others have said, is dire. It won't be any help at all for someone buying their first ever pressure cooker.

Tower 6 Litre Pressure Cooker

The tower pressure cooker seems to be built to last and is very sturdy. The 4 safety features are an excellent addition to end accidents. My pressure cooker was amazing value for money since I paid half the recommended retail price. It is extremely easy to use even for a beginner like me. I would definitely recommend to friends and family to cut cooking time in half.

I am really pleased with my pressure cooker. It is much quieter when cooking at high pressure than previous pressure cookers I've used. It's so easy to clean and the locking mechanism makes it really safe to use too. Great for quickly preparing family meals.

The cooker seems to be working well, despite the rubbish instruction leaflet. I couldn't work out how to use it as the instructions were very misleading. I phoned the so-called help line - I appeared to know more than the girl on the other end! I also emailed the support team who agreed that the instructions were wrong. We finally got it right by watching several clips on YouTube. Come on Tower, I expect better from such a well known company!

Does what a pressure cooker should do which is cook food quickly. Much quieter than older models. Instruction sheet is poorly written and it is not clear when it has reached pressure without a bit of trial and error.

The design of the pressure cooker is very good, easy to fit lid and easy to open after use. However, the instructions included in the box are very poor, and I am still trying to get to grips with using the pressure cooker. I have twice contacted your customer service by email asking for more detailed advice, but have never received a reply.
