Tower 5L Multi Function Pressure Cooker

Fantastic so quick and easy to use. Only negative is that it is difficult to take the intetnal cooking pan over the sink to drain. The steam makes this operation risky. Perhaps a clip on handle Tower ??\nBut apart from that it really is so much better than the old types of pressure cooker. Thoroughly recommend

Flexible size to cook rice meal from 2 to 10 people I have tested. The quality seems very good and robust, it does not make the kitchen messy and easy to clean as well. I even managed cook Arabian style beef, carrot rice meal for 8 guests, the beef is right well cooked as we wished. And it can help to keep the rice warm.\n\nIt's very good value for money money.

Tower 5L Multi Function Pressure Cooker

I was having many second thoughts about buying a pressure cooker when I ordered this; photos online of exploded lids stuck in ceilings didn't help!\nSince arriving, this wonderful device hasn't been off the kitchen counter, and I use it pretty much every day. Reassured of its safety in the design, I made a chicken curry in less than 20 minutes beginning to end, and it was tastier than the slow-cooker curry. Ditto the coq-au-vin. Today I make brocolli & cauliflower soup in it. I honestly don't know what I'd do without it and if it were to vanish, I would order another within 24 hours. It saves me money on electricity, creates almost no washing-up, makes tasty meals quickly; I could go on and on. \nI love my Tower pressure cooker.

This is the first pressure cooker I have ever owned. Although I found that the instructions booklet not very helpful. More recipes would be good and a more simpler way of how much liquid to meat veg rice would be very helpful. But I have cooked in it a few times and I am happy with the end results and so was my family.I had looked at other pressure cookers but this one is great value for money and will save me time in my busy day.Once I got the hang of how to fit the lid on its straight forward .So pleased I pick this one

Very impressed with this product. Used it for the first time on Saturday 6th. February 16, to make a beef stew. It was delicious, and the meat was very tender. I ordered the red one, and it looks superb, Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anybody. The non stick cooking pot was SO easy to clean too.

Having used pressure cookers for years I am disappointed that things take longer to cook than my original models. Rice takes as long as on top of the gas.
I like the fact that steam is not released all through cooking.
Instructions poor especially for anyone using a pressure cooker for the first time.

This is a solid, compact pressure cooker which, so far, has performed well. I haven't had chance to try out all its features but it seems to be very good value for money. As it works in a slightly different way to a conventional stove top I cooker I would have liked rather more advice on usage in the instruction booklet.

Tower 5L Multi Function Pressure Cooker

I am happy with this electric pressure cooker, used it 4 to 5 times in last month, does great beef vegetable stews, chicken pieces in sauce and vegetables. I also cooked a lamb Rogan Gosh, a mild curry but all was so tender, cooked 40mins. However I am not happy with the sealing of the lid, 2nd time I used it, @3 days after purchase, I put the heavy lid back to front and it jammed so quickly. By the time I realised my mistake, I turned the appliance off the mains, 3 people in the house tried to un-jam, but it was shut tight, no pressure left inside but chicken inside was cooked, so had to make a decision to force open this lid. A serrated breadknife sawed the little black tongue left of the pressure hole to release the lid from the back sliding groove. I left the other tiny wedge on, untouched and the missing one was enough to slide the lid back to open, still working fine.\nHowever I feel the pressure tightness is not as efficiently sealed, the lid wobbly, unsafe with children around as could easily open, but safe for us adults.\nI do feel that the lid is FAULTY by design to be able to twist it in back to front by a silly minute distraction, it is easily done, I don't think it is a first for this model. I feel that maybe you could send me a new lid and I would send you my slightly damaged lid, there was no other solution at the time but to cut this protruding black plastic wedge off the lid edge. \nThank you for reading me and awaiting your comments in due course. \nKind regards, Joelle Stockburn Mob: 07799764924.

Tower 5L Digital Pressure Cooker

The product is great value for money as it is more than just a pressure cooker. This machine offers great value for money and a good quality product which you would expect from Tower. You can fry off your ingredients so less washing up which is always a plus. You can do everything in one pot as well so once again less washing up to do. The results are brilliant. I use it for stews, soups, spagbol, steamed vegetables and the list goes on. It's a 100% improvement on the older style pressure cookers that my mum used yo have with different weights to be added and had to use it on the hob. The digital version has bought pressure cooking right into the 21st century. If you ever felt that pressure cookers are time bombs waiting to go off don't feel that is the case with this version. There is a security locked lid which will not release until you release the steam. The buttons and menu selection is easy to read and use. The stay warm feature is another benefit especially when you are juggling lots of things in the kitchen at the same time. This pressure cooker has given me back some of my time as now I can put out fantastic meals in far less time and effort. You will not regret buying this little addition to the kitchen thank you Tower.

The instructions that come with it are totally useless. We rang up the on line information and didnt get much from them as the lady who we spoke to was not very good at all.
The cooker is good and works well but still cant find out how to increase the cooking time from what is programed in. The cooker is well built and works well and not too bad value wise. Overall a good product but instructions are very bad.

An excellent product with good features I like the STEW one especially, well built and definitely worth the price. In my opinion far superior to the hob pressure cookers with steam escaping and the very hot surfaces of the cooker.
All in All areal Winner.

I've never owned or used a pressure cooker before and I'm delighted I purchased this product. It's very simple to use and gives great results. The only downside for me is that the instruction/recipe booklet is of little use as it doesn't give much detail especially on liquid quantities, internet research is required.

I purchased the electric pressure cooker as a replacement for my stove-top model. Once you have worked out how to use this pressure cooker it is actually very efficient and good! Having previously used a stove top version this has proven to be much easier and safer to use. However what needs to be improved is the information that comes with it! There is not enough information on the amount of liquids required, timings etc and a few more varied recipes than the few given, would be nice! The settings are for Rice, Meat/Chicken,porridge and Tendon?????? - I just wanted to know how long to cook potatoes!!!! The dial is manual - you must add an extra10mins to the time for the cooker to heat up - but again this is not explained! \nAll in all the quality is good, we purchased this as a sale item (thankfully) and I have got used to using it now, delivery was through an online store and was efficient!

This was given to me as a gift. I have only just got round to using it as I waited for the new manual. \nIt seems fine but I am still having a few problems with it as I think I am not using the pressure control correctly as steam is issuing all the time. I presume that the pressure release valve is the same as the pressure valve & I am not sure when it is in the sealing position. Also how I can tell when the float (is that the float valve outlet?) has dropped.\nI think that I am being incredibly stupid!!\nAlso, food is sticking to the base.\nThis is a good looking solid product and I am sure when I have thoroughly mastered it, it will be great!

I have never used a pressure cooker before, so I opted for an electric one has I have only 1 hob, I am pleased with the product but the instructions are absolute garbage hence why I gave the product 4 stars, I also looked online for instructions for this model and could not find any at all. If they don't want to go to the expense of having a bigger manual they could put it on their website so everyone can at least get some instructions and maybe some recipe ideas for using with this product (but that the manufacturers problem).\n\nAlso the lid is hard to get on.\n\nI have no managed to cook rice in there and now got it right second time of trying, but not tried anything else at the moment.\n\nWhat I also like about this product is that when the timer stops it bings and stops cooking but automatically goes to keep warm.

First one was faulty (timer didn't work) but retailer exchanged immediately. Overall a good purchase. A versatile cooker with good capacity, no leaks, very quiet in operation and easy to clean. It loses a star, however, for the steamer rack placement being far too high up to enable any sensible quantity of food, pudding basin etc. to fit. An additional smaller trivet which sits on the bottom would be good. I use a small silicone pot trivet which works very well. Also, the instructions are woeful and written in the now sadly ubiquitous Chinglish. I have found out most of the functions and cleaning procedures by trial and error. Tower please provide FULL details and instructions in proper English so that customers may get the best out of your fine appliances.
