With Festival Season in full flow, we’re bringing you recipes for the great food you find, that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home. We’ve kicked off with the iconic stir-fried noodles that all festival goers know and love!
300g Fresh Egg Noodles
1 Red Chilli, ½ diced, ½ sliced into rings
2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
6 spring onions
100g Ham, chopped
2 Handfuls Beansprouts
2 Tsp Coconut Oil
1 Thumb Sized Piece of Ginger, chopped
½ Tbsp Curry Powder
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
150g Chicken Breast, sliced thinly
First chop up your chilli, garlic, spring onions and ginger. You can do this by hand or use the Tower Dual Bladed Mini Chopper to save time.
Turn the Tower Electric Sauté Pan onto high and add the coconut oil. When hot, add the ginger, chilli, spring onions and garlic and stir fry for a minute or until softened.
Add the chicken, ham, curry powder, soy sauce and teriyaki and stir fry for a further 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Add the noodles and beansprouts to the wok and fry for a further 2 minutes until the noodles have cooked.
Serve in bowls with a squeeze of lime.
