Halloween Food Playlist

Here at Tower HQ we’ve been throwing ourselves headlong into Halloween, ghosting in and out of the office all week creating and curating a terrifying amount of ghoulish gastro content for you in the run up to 31 October. Enter our Pumpkin Carving Competition and submit a nice pic of your best homemade pumpkin lantern and you could be in grave danger of winning a Tower blender worth £500. If making Halloween party food is more your thing though then you’ve come to the right place as we bring you our favourite Halloween recipe vids from around the web…

Deathly DIY

Everyone’s favourite Aussie vlogger Gillian Bower has been getting in on the spooky holiday action this week by bringing cramming a whole host of Pintrest-inspired DIY Halloween recipes into this short, snappy vid. Some of the ingredients mentioned are specific to the land down under but don’t get spooked however - we’re sure you’ll be able to find the UK equivalent easily enough.

Mincing with fear

Top foodie channel Allrecipes never fails to disappoint with its well-presented, quick and easy recipes and this frightfully convenient guide to making mini beef Jack-o-Lantern pies keeps that record going with aplomb. Just make sure you have a decent pan (such as the Tower 24cm Cerasure Multi-Pan) on hand before following the on-screen instructions, and you’ll be wowing your Halloween party guests with these treats in no time.

What’s the matter, cupcake?

Nottingham’s Warren Nash regularly churns out useful recipes, all of which are delivered in his no nonsense style. This week though, our straightforward chef has been getting in on the Halloween action and brings us this devilishly easy cupcake recipe. If you do try this one out you might want to point your browser in the direction of the Tower 1200W Die-Cast Stand Mixer – it’ll make mixing a whole lot easier!

Hounds of hell

It seems that every cooking channel is turning its hand to creating ghoulish gourmet dishes, so much so that delightfully bonkers Japanese YouTube channel Cooking with Dog has been rustling up this tasty pumpkin cheesecake.  Canine host Francis shows you how to pull off the perfect Halloween desert in this video and whilst the little poodle doesn’t get his hands dirty as such (he doesn’t actually have hands) he does advocate the use of a hand mixer not dissimilar to this one.

Monster munch

Everyone loves cookies and most people love getting in to the spirit of things when 31 October rolls around, so why not combine both and make these morose monster teeth cookies? Ace cooking channel Crumbs Food show you how to bake the blood-curdling biscuits in this snappy little video and because they take no time at all, you can spend longer putting the final touches on your Halloween costume! These recipes and the ones found in our Halloween Party Food feature will put you in grave danger of hosting a Halloween party to end all Halloween parties. If you know of any spectacular spooky recipes we might have missed though, let us know in the comments or hit us up on our Twitter or Facebook channels and we’ll do our best to share them with our followers.
